week fifteen (omg!) 12/8-12/14

Final week of class and also crit week!

Half of us post-baccs had crit and their Spacelab show last week actually (but mine is this week).

My work this semester explores the interior, emotional landscape of mourning a dear friendship that has ended. Drawing from historical and contemporary funeral practice, my work tells the story of this friendship in snippets, its beauty and its end. The work serves as both a memorial and a finality, and encourages the viewer to remember their own past friendships.
