week eleven 11/3-11/9

I’m getting big time organized this week! I scheduled out when I need do my bisque and glaze firings for the end of this semester.

I’m planning to finish building the second urn next week and having it dried out to run a bisque before Thanksgiving break.

I told myself at the beginning of the semester that I wasn’t a candlestick girlie was I think I may be becoming one. I have thoroughly enjoyed making the little candlesticks this semester. I’m making some little Advent candle holders for myself for this Christmas season. :)

The weekend I finally glazed my shrines, and glazed my test tiles. When I programmed the glaze firing I used an old glaze program on accident. Overall the results are still pretty much as expected, but my yellow violet was acting up so I may have to re-assess before I glaze my urns in a couple of weeks.
