week nine 10/20-10/26

This week I didn’t do much other than glaze and fire my cone 10 work.

I was disappointed with how the work turned out. I don’t like the clay body when fired and with the clear glaze I especially don’t like it.

This week I also continued working on building my second urn, and bounced around ideas for a third urn. I don’t know if I’ll have enough time in this semester to make this third urn, and it is not vital to the body of work. It would be a good addition but since it is not necessary I won’t worry about making sure that I get it done. The most important are the two urns I’ve already started.
