week eight 3/2-3/8

This week I did some photographing of my work, current and previous, and I had my demo on Wednesday, and I also continued working on my fool lamp.

My demo was on Wednesday, and I did it on how I make my figure lamps, specifically how I build the tube where the wiring goes. I think it went pretty well. I should have prepared more but I was trying really hard not to think too much about it beforehand so I wouldn’t psych myself out.

I also made this badass brush out of my own hair and it’s pretty dope and works pretty well too. I plan to use it for glaze application.

Outside of the studio, I’ve been working on a quilt! She cutie.
